Clinical Detail
How we approach this treatment.
Lower face assessment
We assess jaw width at the gonial angle, the definition of the jaw border, chin projection, submental fullness and skin laxity. Filler is only appropriate where the underlying issue is loss of bony support or definition, not where laxity is the dominant feature.
Technique and safety
Firm, high lift capacity gels are placed on the periosteum at the angle and along the body of the mandible, with cannula work used to blend the border. The facial artery and vein cross the mandible in a predictable position, so entry points and planes are chosen deliberately to keep the treatment safe.
Recovery
Expect mild swelling for two to three days and occasional bruising at cannula entry points. Firmness along the jaw is normal for two weeks as the product integrates, and the definitive result is reviewed at that point.

Questions
Frequently asked.
How much is jawline filler in Belfast?
Jawline filler at Face and Co Belfast is from £280. The final figure depends on the volume required and the plan agreed at consultation. Prices shown are examples only and a consultation is always required for accurate pricing and a treatment plan. VIP members pay between 5 and 20 percent less depending on tier.
How long does jawline filler last?
Typically 12 to 18 months depending on the product and area treated.
Is it suitable for women and men?
Yes. Treatment is tailored to your features and the look you want.
How much filler does a jawline need?
Most jawlines need two to four syringes to make a visible structural difference. Using less than the anatomy requires is the most common reason patients feel their jaw treatment did nothing.
Will jawline filler help jowls?
It can soften early jowling by restoring definition along the jaw border, but it will not lift significant skin laxity. If skin quality is the main issue we will say so and discuss more appropriate options.
Does jawline filler hurt?
Discomfort is modest. Treatment is largely performed with a cannula, which reduces bruising and is generally more comfortable than multiple needle entries.
