Clinical Detail
How we approach this treatment.
Screening comes first
No infusion is given without a health screening covering medical history, medication, allergies, kidney function concerns and recent illness. Where a symptom pattern suggests an underlying issue, we will direct you to your GP for bloods rather than infusing over the top of an undiagnosed problem.
Clinical setting and monitoring
Cannulation is performed by a qualified clinician using aseptic technique, and you are monitored throughout the infusion with rate adjusted to comfort and tolerance. Emergency protocols and equipment are in place, which is what separates a clinical setting from a mobile or party drip service.
Realistic benefits
Hydration, recovery from illness or travel, and correcting a documented deficiency are where IV therapy genuinely earns its place. It is not a detox, not a weight loss treatment and not a substitute for sleep, nutrition and medical care. We prefer to say that plainly at the point of booking.

Questions
Frequently asked.
How often can I have an IV drip?
This depends on the infusion and your goals. We will recommend a sensible cadence at consultation.
Is it safe?
Yes. All infusions are prescribed and delivered by qualified clinicians.
How long does an IV drip take?
Around 30 to 45 minutes for most infusions, plus a short screening beforehand. You can work, read or rest in the treatment chair throughout.
Which drip should I choose?
We choose it with you at screening based on your goals, diet, medication and recent bloods. Common requests are hydration and recovery, immune support, energy and B vitamin support, and pre event preparation.
Does it hurt?
You feel a brief scratch as the cannula is placed. After that the infusion itself is painless, though some people notice a cool sensation along the arm or a passing vitamin taste.
Who should not have IV therapy?
Anyone with significant kidney or heart failure, certain blood disorders, or who is pregnant. Some vitamins interact with medication, so we screen fully before any infusion is given.
Is IV better than oral supplements?
For most healthy people with a good diet, oral supplements are perfectly adequate and cheaper. IV is useful where absorption is poor or rapid hydration and recovery are the goal. We will tell you honestly if you do not need it.
